An outdoors wilderness skills program for teens ages 9-15 years old. At Nature’s Backpack, we believe that teenagers deserve diverse opportunities that bring out the natural and innate gifts within them. Through guided opportunities by strong, knowledgeable mentors, teens will learn to foster a community that includes nature. A community that teaches self-awareness, relationships and respect for self, each other and the earth. These experiences will give them a sense of belonging, self worth, and a safe container to express true self freely and build leadership through healthy challenges. The session is led by a group of mentors who are fun, experienced wilderness naturalist guides, role models who share a passion and experiences of connecting to the earth, and to our communities.
